Peter was a career banker with Bank of Scotland until he retired in 2008. Although his job took him all over Scotland he has lived in Falkirk all his life. While Peter was Chairman of Glenbervie Golf Club in the 90's he was chairing at prizegiving dinners at the club when he realized he enjoyed making people laugh and his new career was born. Since retiring he has concentrated on developing his speaking career and now he regularly entertains people all over the UK .

He will always leave you smiling.



Jim was born in Lochgelly, Fife and signed as a schoolboy for Dunfermline in 1968 and is currently Director of football at Dunfermline FC. Jim is one of the most popular speakers on the dinner speaking circuit in Scotland and his reputation as poet, wit and story telling has kept him busy throughout the year. Jim is happy to host an evening or guest as the main speaker. Always looking for new challanges, Jim is now gaining an enviable reputation in the Corporate Market with his motivational and team building programme. So what are you waiting for get booking, Jims a very busy man.




From Ayrshire originally, Gordon enjoyed a glittering football career and after retiring from playing in 1988, Gordon became an Independent Financial Adviser for a London based firm. Apart from two and a half years at St Mirren as assistant manager between 1990 and 1993, he continued with this until he became a football agent in1997. As an ex-footballing after dinner speaker, Gordon Smith tells stories of a hilarious mixture of his life as a footballer and broadcaster.



Andy is a former Scotland International Association football goalkeeper. He started his career with Oldham Athletic and Hibernian, but he is best rememberes for playing for Rangers during the 1990's, when he earned the moniker "The Goalie". In a 2001 poll of Rangers fans, Andy was voted Rangers greatest ever goalkeeper. 



Dick is a Scottish association football manager and former player, who is currently manager of Arbroath. Dick's playing career was low-profile and is more known for his management career which includes lengthy spells at Brechin City and Forfar Athletic. He also managed Cowdenbeath, Dunfermline Athletic, Partick Thistle and Ross County. He has achieved four promotions at three different clubs with the highlight taking Brechin from old Scottish Third Division to the Scottish First Division which earned him his move to Partick. 



Involved in Rugby, first as a player then as a coach. Peter won 21 caps at prop for Scotland between 1992 and 1996 and toured New Zealand with the British and Irish Lions in 1993

Peter then moved on to work in Sporting Media.



Donald is Britains leading Criminal Defence Advocate, Ex Rangers Vice Chairman and Unionist, Donald is one of the few eccentrics in life. Having been filmed singing politically incorrect songs Donald has been in ever popular demand on the Scottish After Dinner Circuit.

Donald brings his varied interests and colourful background to any After dinner and enhances it with his wit and the same theatrical skills that have seen him become the most sought after criminal advocate in Scotland.
